Ric,
You don't really interpet the biblical injunction to turn the other cheek as an inviolable edict? Do you think Jesus 'wants' your children to be blown to smithereens by ...fanatics? Jesus admonished us to 'be gentle as a dove and wise as a serpent'. Wisdom carries with it the responsibility to ACT on our wisdom, not just parrot biblical verses.

As far as I'm concerned, if it comes down to us or them--it's going to be THEM!!!
