IN RESPONSE TO: "To be fair, France is the only country which recognises the Armenian Holocaust (I can call it a Holocaust, because it was an inspiration to Hitler)."

This widely believed (and thus widely unresearched, or it wouldn't be widely believed) question of inspiration stems for a supposed statement by Hitler mentioned in evidence document USA-28 during the Nuremberg trials. Armenians will frequently mention this and cite its code to make it look a nice, official and legal piece of evidence... what they neglect is that the prosecution were so unconvinced of origin of the document that they did not even attempt to submit USA-28 to the court.

Of course, Europeans will believe what they wish to believe. What the ones on this forum wish to believe is rather obvious.

Incidentally, a good book on the issue of the Armenian massacre is 'Disputed Suicide' by Guenter Lewy - a Jewish Nazi camp surviver and respected holocaust historian who recently turned his genocide research background to the issue of Armenians. You can read the view of someone who clearly has no leaning towards genocide denial, or you can conclude I am a brainwashed Turk who believes everything that my government tells me. I wonder which you will do..
