WITHOUT CHRISTReader comment on item: A Key Change to "The Pope and the Koran" Submitted by donvan (United States), Mar 8, 2006 at 17:28 No doubt the Holy Father is correct, the koran cannot change.How interesting to contemplate the world if there had never been a Christ. Islam would still exist, without even the hope of an alternative. At lease the Hope of the world did exist and we can still live in that hope. Perhaps the brutality that islamism represents will win the day, perhaps we will willingly give up our freedoms of press and speech with hardly even a whimper. But hope remains, the possibility that the love that is the crucified Christ cannot be denied. That is the miracle of Christ.
