Conspiracy RebuttalReader comment on item: Those Danish Cartoons and Me Submitted by Mark Roth (United States), Feb 22, 2006 at 09:32 Your rational approach to a response to wacky conspiracy theories misses an essential point--the theorists who propound the nonsensical theories and their followers are not rational enough to be persuaded by facts. The target of the conspiracy accusations will always be tarnished among the witless. No facts can or will alter their opinions.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
