Israel Has Not Done Enough to Protect its Men, Women and Children

THE HAMAS CHARTER (1988)
Preamble: "Israel will exist until Islam obliterates it, as it obliterated others before it"
Article 6: "Hamas strives to raise the banner of God over every inch of Palestine, so followers of all religions can coexist in safety"
Article 11: "Palestine is an Islamic endowment consecrated for future Moslem generations... it should not be given up"
Article 13: "So-called peaceful solutions contradict the principles of Hamas. Jihad is the only solution for the Palestinian question"
Article 14: "Liberating Palestine is an individual duty for every Muslim wherever they may be"

I do not believe that the Israel of 2006 could claim vicctory in 6 days ( 1967), repel a surprise attack ( 1973) nor rescue hostage so swiftly ( Entebbe 1976 ). Perhaps I am wrong but the fact that Israelis have tolerated the presence of Hamas and their primitive rockets which are being sent into israel proper on a near daily basis I find bewildering.

Golda Meir and Moshe Dayan et al must be rolling in agony in their graves.

I have my doubts that Israel under Olmert or Mitzna ( God Forbid ) would act so quickly. Israel threatens this and Israel threatens that is all I read be it here or Debka, Israpundit, Ynet, Jpost, etc..
