Wahabi arrests in GeorgiaReader comment on item: [Saudi Arabia:] Not Friend or Foe Submitted by TPutnam (United States), May 14, 2002 at 13:23 Dr. Pipes,I found it interesting that you mentioned "Wahabians" in the wake of recent developments in Central Georgia. In Putnam county, a group known as the "Nuwabians", were raided by the local sheriff and other local law enforcement officials. The raid was to arrest "Malachi York" on sex with minor charges. This bunch may be just another cult, but they built Egyptian style pyramids on their site and had lots of Egyptian looking artwork on their grounds. The leader and his wife now face charges as the raid uncovered lots of pictures of minors having sex with adults. I don't know if this bunch is Muslim-related or not.
