Barbara, if someone claimed to be a false prophet, he would have some motive or evil behind it, if you were to read the life of the prophet Mohammed (PBUH), you would understand. He taught good, not bad, if he wanted to, he could have lived like a King, thats what falsi Messiah's do, lie for power, but he rather lived like a poor man and gave all he had away to charity.

The muslims you see today reflect themselves not Islam, Islam is perfect but unfortunately muslims can't, distinguish the two.
