To Dhimmi, I never said I read Wansbrough's book

Dhimmi: You are right. I did not read Wansbrough's book, but I did not claim to have read it either. I wrote that "I have read about Wansbrough , Crone and Cook's theories about Mohammed". What I quoted was from Ibn Al Rawandi's article "Origins of Islam" in which he talked about these reasearchers and mentioned the said theory, which was actually from Crone and Cook, who, he said, were influenced by Wansbrough's reaserch. ("The Quest for Historical Muhammad" by Ibn e Warraq, page 104). I confess I just skimped through this article which is about 30 pages.

Al Rawandi claims that Patricia Crone and Cook's theory is the most radical version of islamic origin which I assumed was also Wansbroughs. My mistake.
