All of Islamic advances throughout history have come about due to war and only war. There is nothing in the Koran or any of the hadiths about negotiations or compromise with infidels. Infidels are dealt with in only three ways, none of which involves any compromising.

Those in the West who feel that they could live out their lives just as easlily under a Islamic regime as any other are the grossly misinformed and the educated foolish among us.
