O Please, let's get real, shall we?
Reader comment on item: Thoughts on Hamas' Ascendance

Submitted by J.S. (Canada), Jan 26, 2006 at 15:13

I don't suppose that Dr. Pipes missed GW Bush's little press conference today? (called suddenly and early in the morning.) Or did he miss what Condi had to say?

In the unlikely event of having missed out on the idiocy, allow me to do a re-cap here. The Prez remarked about the glories of "democracy" -- and how pleased he is that Arabs can express themselves at the ballot box. The Prez also expressed the belief that the Pals want "an honest government" (indeed, they want an Arab government openly committed to the destruction of Israel and the promoter of terrorism).

Ironically, the Prez also mentioned how "democracy can open the eyes of people." Well, it's quite obvious who still happens to have his eyes shut tight (and that happens to be none other than the President of the United States.)

What will it take to get people of the world to understand that at the heart of Islam (and, yes, I refuse to use the expression "radical" Islam -- since I DO NOT SEE a "moderate" Islam -- and since I cannot see a Moderate Islam, I am concluding that a "moderate" Islam in fact DOES NOT EXIST) is a genocidal desire to obliterate an entire people. When is this awareness going to take place?? How long do we wait??...

I believe the mindless idiotic repetition of slogans as highly counter-productive. What is the point in mindlessly repeating that "moderate Islam is the solution?" Or to mindlessly repeat slogans about "democracy" in the Middle East. It's uttter insanity.

Then the excuses the liars at CNN, all the liberal media, all the Leftists, use. They are running around claiming (lying openly) that the Pals were simply voiting "in protest" to the corrupt Fatah party. O please. There were a number of other political parties from which to choose. The poll result which escapes the liars (and the apologists for the terrorists) notice is this -- that 86 percent of Pals believe that "Violence Works!!" And that is why Pals voted for Hamas. Hamas is a War Party. And, as far as i'm concerned War with Islam has been declared.
