Mr.Pipes was talking about the muslim women in a western (french) society. somehow u try to connect this topic with the influence of hinduism on south asian muslims, by this argument the bad things were happened becoz of liberal westen culture influence on the muslims .All the badthings southasian muslims do becoz influence of hinduism....if utake this external influences of these muslims then they will be pefect just like taliban, or saudi who follow the (IM)perfect(?) interpretation of islam i mean women who cant even drive cars , cant leave home without a male blood related companion, cant go to schools, why dont u realise they are humanbeings like us,dont try to justify this quoting from customs of other religions from medeival times or some history books from 7th century.

About SATI, it existed in ancient times but not prevalent, i dont want justify this evil practice and i am not blaming others. the point i was making was how barbaric the islamic invasion of INDIA(ancinet times it included afghanistan,pak,bangla,burma etc), it was not smooth, millions of warriors were killed and their wives and kids were added to their harems are taken as slaves to sell them dirt cheap.i think now u know what iam saying insted following into barbaric muslims hands the women used to kill thmeselves(not to become sex slaves and auctioned off after) , that is how the the SATI became perevelant in HINDU society, it was justifiable in the medeival times...not after the mughals(ur ancestors)were dethroned by british. Now u understand why accused muslims for SATI.The contribution by ancestors to hindus society is nothing.

I agree u r not blaming anybody ur merely suggesting these bad incidents happened becoz bad influences of other cultures (like hinduism, french etc).

I also agree all faiths are fine, As quoted by LORD krishna that all the paths lead to him.
Find the TRUTH , no flaws in logic etc
ONLY THE TRUTH WILL TRIUMPH.
