Dear James,

Yes, I must confess that the media is filled with paranoia and insanity. As you said, you live in the US in a neighborhood with a lot of muslims and have never had a problem. How lucky you are.

As you know, we like to exeggerate issues. I can confess to a few examples of paranoia.

Example 1.

Theo van Gogh was stabbed to death and was found with Quranic verses on his corpse for making a film critising the treatment of women under Islam. That was an outrageous media coverage that has totally distorted Islam. I must confess that I was wrongly angry at Islam. I did some research and come to realise that we have failed to understand a few issues. Firstly, we denied the killer, or perhaps you prefer the term 'life-remover', of his right to profess his religion. Secondly, we failed to realise that women under Islam have better morality than Western whores. We can trace back to an article from Islam holy texts.

Let's learn from the following verses:
Tabari VIII:22/Ishaq:458
"Hassan was with the women and children. A Jew passed by and began to walk around his settlement. There was no one to protect them while the Apostle and his Companions were at the Meccans' throats. So I said: ‘Hassan, this Jew is walking around. I fear he will point out our weakness while the Muslims are too busy to attend to us. So go down to him and kill him."

‘Allah forgive you, daughter of Abd al-Muttalib,' Hassan said. ‘You know that I am not the man to do it.'"

"When he said that to me I saw that nothing could be expected from him. I girded myself, took a club, and, having gone down from the fortress to the man, I struck him with the club until I killed him. When I had finished with him, I returned to the fortress and said, ‘Hassan, go down to him and strip him—only his being a man kept me from taking his clothes.'

Hassan replied, ‘I have no need for his spoils.'" End of quote.

James, yes I confess. I finaly learn that:
1. Muslims have the right of kill non-muslims, even for walking around their compound. There is no sin. The daughter of Abd al-Muttalib is not to be faulted. We are wrongfully paranoid when we see non-muslims being killed by muslims.

2. Muslims have the right to take the possessions of the dead non-muslims. Their prophet has declared that war booty is halal. The daughter of Abd al-Muttalib is not to be faulted. Islam started when muslims began raiding caravans and towns, enslaving the population. In the spirit of globalisation, the West should import some of these practices.

3. Muslim women are capable to perform as their men. The daughter of Abd al-Muttalib showed a man how killing is done. Hassan, perhaps, was a coward.

4. Muslims women have higher moral standards. The daughter of Abd al-Muttalib, after killing and robbing a Jew, refused to remove his garment for fear of looking at his genitals. Such morality is to be envied by the West. Prince Charles was right when he said that there is something in Islam to be envied by the Western women.

James, you can be rest assured that should your fate becomes like the Jew, your genitals will not be displayed for Muslim women to sight.

James, perhaps you can start a petition to the Dutch authorities for van Gogh's 'life-remover' to be freed on grounds that he was merely fulfilling his duties as a good muslim. We must defend the freedom of religion.

Theo van Gogh deserves to be killed. He has blasphemed Islam. We learn that the Prophet himself would order his death.

We take from Islam's holy text:

Ishaq: 676
Asma Bnt Marwan, a Madina poetess, wrote poems, criticizing Madina men‘You obey a stranger(Mohammed) who encourages you to murder for booty. You are greedy men. Is there no honor among you?'

Upon hearing those lines Muhammad said, ‘Will no one rid me of this woman?' Umayr, a zealous Muslim, decided to execute the Prophet's wishes.

James, you see, Asma was outraged that her fellow people were engaged in raiding trade caravans, killing and enslaving innocents in the name of Islam. Thus, she deserved death. She should have known better than to blasphemed against the Prophet. Furthermore, she had 5 young children and was breatfeeding her youngest child when she was stabbed in the middle of a night. Islam needs no critic.

Thus, Theo van Gogh deserved the same fate as all critics of Islam.

The West, well, we are a bit paranoia. We felt that this act is cruel and this militant cult, not religion, is evil. James, you however, seem to think that we are insane in critising Islam. Yes, I confess, we are insane. Insane because, we could end up being killed for critising Islam.

Why do we do it then? Well, you might die even if you don't criticize this cult.

Example 2

3 Christian school girls were beheaded on their way to school in Indonesia with one severly injured.

James, you're right. We dramatized this again. Perhaps, you prefer to hear softer news such as "3 school girls had their lives ended prematurely by a group of locals. Their heads appeared to have distanced themselves from their bodies. Perhaps, they were scantily dressed despite being on their way to school. Dressing, which is more important than death itself in Islam, should be strictly adhered to."

James, I confess. After doing reseach on this self-promoted 'religion of peace', I can see only a 'militant cult of hate and death'. I must be going out of my mind. I can only realise that never can a week passes by without anyone dying in the name of Islam.

James, can we learn your solution to end this paranoia and insanity?
Look at how the media here twists issues related to local news - you can see the exaggerations and distortions for yourself. Why give them any more trust on foreign policy?
