A big stroke in mid east polity
Reader comment on item: [After Sharon:] Israeli Politics Will Revert to Its Past

Submitted by Amitabh tripathi (India), Jan 7, 2006 at 09:13

Brain stroke of Ariel Sharon has put a lot of questions before analysts world over. Will this stroke prove a disaster for mid east or will it revert politics of this region to the past, as Dr Daniel Pipes has predicted.

Those who are following the politics of mid east as a student of this subject they did not have much stake with what were happening in Israel from last some months but who were observing these events in the background of Islamic terrorism and implications of these developments on the fight against Islamic terrorism, they had much at stake .

Dr Daniel Pipes has portrayed the picture of politics of Israel in the absence of Ariel Sharon but exit of Ariel Sharon from public life ( God may give him fast recovery) will also affect the ongoing fight against Islamic terrorism. Conflict of Arab-Israel is pivotal to Islamic terrorism, relationship between these two shift the balance of power in fight against Islamic terrorism.

Very few people had in their memory how Islamists developed their theory of so called "Muslim sufferings" from Arab-Israel conflict to recruit vulnerable muslim youths in violent jihad. This Muslim suffering theory gradually took Kashmir, chechanya and other parts of the world in their fold which finally developed in the concept of Khilafat .So still Israel matters a lot for those countries who are suffering from the virus of violent jihad.

In last year some unfortunate events took place in Israel which had negative impact on the fight against Islamic terrorism. In month of august while posting my comment on Gaza withdrawal I predicted this action of Ariel Sharon in camp of Islamic terrorists will be celebrated with jubilation as a victory and it will encourage them to go for violent activities in other parts of the world .Islamic terrorists proved me right when they attacked Indian capital on the eve of Hindu festival and it was direct repercussion of Indian diplomatic proximity with Israel and America .

Islamic terrorist all over the world see Israel as big hindrance in their goal of Khilafat and its policies with Palestinians have a direct impact on on going war against Islamic terrorism.

Concessions which Ariel Sharon has granted to Palestinians were very much going to decide the fate of other democracies which are facing muslim aggression . Defeatist mentality of Israel government and their surrender to Islamic terrorism were growing under the leadership of Ariel Sharon.

It was highly surprising for any body how a politician can go so low in his ideological conviction that he even do not hesitate in demoralizing the morale of its nation and compromising the very national character of its nation.

Brain stroke of Ariel Sharon could be a mere accident but it has saved Israel from going into the hand of leftists and defeatists.
Citizens of other country had nothing to do with the internal policies of other nation but matter of Israel is something special . Without knowing the twist of Mideast policy politics of Islam and Islamic terrorism can not be tackled.
