Graue Panther

"Could you clarify to us this 'Turkish army of the Grey Panthers' ( it seems that the classical modern Turkish Grey Wolves in a miraculous way have given birth to Grey Panthers now ) ?"

I guess we have a Freudian slip here. "Graue Panther" is an "anti-ageism" (rights for the elderly) movement (basically not a bad idea) that was founded in the Seventies by a crone called Trude Unruh, then the darling of each and every talk show host, and was hugely popular as long as it lasted. http://www.graue-panther-online.de/

That such a hate-filled, badly educated and common cartoon character should find her way into the German federal parliament, the Bundestag, and even win celebrity status, tells as much about our society as the deferential attitude towards Islam with its implied self-hate.

I have a hunch that Pike is such a dhimm-wit and not a Turk, as a latter would hardly confuse "Graue Panther" and "Graue Wölfe".
