Dr. Pipes:

I enjoyed the interview. Can you refer me to any articles or writers who have dealt with "political correctness" extensively? I wish that someone more qualified than I would write a brief history of this phenomenon: how it started, all the terms and words that have been "outlawed,"and how our very language has been so adulterated that most average people, esp. those who may limit their reading to their local newspapers are confused because words have lost their true meaning.
