You said: "they" told me that CONVERTS to Islam are growing very fast." Who are these you refer to as "they" what statistics or surveys are you quoting from ? Anyone one can say " they" said it.
They said the moon was made of cheese - will you believe it?

These are the undisputed facts on the ground:

1. Muslim families in Western countries are having large families due to the availability of free medical care, free schooling, subsidized housing (in Europe) welfare benefits an other hand outs.
e.g. see Paris, France or Bradford, England .

2. Most immigrants to the Christian Western countries are form traditionally Muslim countries. Algeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, Morocco, Mali,Tunisia, Niger,Iraq,Syria,Lebanon, Egypt. Afghanistan, Indonesia and so forth.

3. 98% of the Asylum seekers are from Muslim countries. see Stats in France, Italy, Spain, & the UK.

4. Most of the disgruntled 'African/Caribbean origin' prison populations in the Western countires & other misfits (e.g. Richard Reid, Jose Padilla) are converting to Islam, as its very simple to do so, also Islam says; as one becomes a muslin, all the prior sins are forgiven by Allah.What a simple way to clear ones conscience. Its a simple act of faith for simple minds.

So these are the hard facts which prefer not to admit - to make it look like, that Islam is growing in the West. Its not growing by conversion as you say. What statistics do you have? Is it the propaganda by the likes of MAC, MAB CAIR and so forth?

Your contention that one half of the American Muslims are converts is erroneoust; you could go to any Masjid (Mosque) and not a Muslim church as you put it, and check this for yourself. The people who are light skinned at the mosque are not Anglo Americans, they are Americans of Lebanese, Syrian, Jordanians, Palestinians, Afghans North African descent.So it may look like they are Anglo Americans..

Islam was spread by the sword, check the history books - the conquest of all the lands in Arabia, Turkey , Persia, Southern Europe, the Balkans, North Africa, and the Indian sub-continent. You have a very meager knowledge of history or you do not want to accept the truth or the facts. Islamic history itself glorify the wars they have had for 1400 years.

You ask why Muslims who come to the West do not embrace other religions? What a asinine question. For one thing they all live in majority Muslim enclaves, to give up Islam is punishable by death - Apostate. Muslims are throughly brain washed from birth and frightened to death of the hell fires if one leaves Islam.
Raaynee you will be surprised by the number of Muslims leaving Islam, they keep it quiet and live in the background for fear of being murdered by their fellow religionists.
