Good points. More of a linguistic bonding, than cultural. I find it wonderful the way Arab Christians and Arab Jews have maintained their respective religions even in the Middle East, and remained friends and not tried to convert each other due to the Arab commonality, which has nothing to do with religion. I've personally never seen any dissension between them.
