Where islamists stem from?Reader comment on item: More Converts to Terrorism Submitted by Ed Brophy (United States), Dec 10, 2005 at 15:21 Yoven--They stem from about the 8th century. Every bit of wriiten thought, all religious philosophies and all of the contributions to civilization made by Moslems and us Infidels since then are TOTALLY rejected. In their view everying must revert to the way it was on the day of the prophet's death. Anyone who opposes this; be he Muslim or otherwise is subject to jihad. It would be good for us to brush up on the teachings of the Taliban-they can explain it quite well.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
