You have a wonderful healthy attitude on dealing with your child. Keep this up. The only way to handle conversions is to educate yourself, you cannot nag on what you know nothing of.

When you can calmly speak, speak with knowledge. Mention the polygamy, the rights husbands have, the rights women don"t have, even in regards to their own children. Ask her, who does she plan to marry? Or if there is someone in her life.

Statistically speaking, very few women or girls convert unless they are involved with a Muslim. I wish I could quote the many who convert, then return to their original faiths. These stats are scarcely mentioned, for obvious reasons. Ask her to please ask any Muslim what their family would do if they converted to your faith? Married out of their faith? Would they be forgiven by their society or their family? Key words: forgive. mercy.

I wonder how these young converts would feel if someone they truly cared about, or the people they loved and associated with for years, suddenly shouted 'apostate" at them? Declared them infidels worthy of death? How would they feel when the warm, sisterly love suddenly gets tossed to the winds, when you announce that you've had serious doubts on this faith and decided to return to your previous faith, and they just stopped speaking to you?
It was the best thing that ever happened to my "friend".....

Love, or acceptance based on your religion of choice, is not Love.
