Ayesha, how do you know that muslims are leaving Islam in secret?

I am sure that this is true but I am wondering how do you know that since the fear is so high for anyone to tell others that they left Islam, I am looking forward to hear your experience

BTW, I have searched for Dr. Mark Gabriel on the Web, his story is amazing, someone who was raised to be Imam and couldn't find the true love of GOD in Islam, but it was very easy to find such unconditional love in Christ
