Iranian nuclear program a threat to world

Reader comment on item: Iran's Final Solution Plan

Submitted by Frederick J. Bainhauer III (United States), Nov 27, 2005 at 21:18

Iran's nuclear program is a threat to everyone. To date all diplomatic efforts have failed. With each passing day Iran is getting closer to their dream of producing nuclear weapons. Once Iran gains the capacity to manurfacture nuclear weapons, the situation will be even worse for the United States and Israel.

Iran has been supporting the insurgency in Iraq and terrorist groups in southern Lebanon. While the campaign against terror in Iraq is important, the Iranian nuclear program is more threatening to the world, particularly the US and Israel. Iran has been developing missile with North Korean help over the last decade, and already has the delivery system to strike at Israel.

Most radical left Americans and Europeans would be more than happy to see Tel Aviv and Haifa become glass in a nuclear exchange with Iran. If Iran's nuclear program continues, the radical left, and radical Muslims will get their wish.

Containing and destroying Iran's nuclear program now should be the UN's priority now. If the UN is not up to the job, it should fall to NATO, the United States and Israel to take the Iranian nuclear program out.
