To Naqvi cc:Peter: What kind of freedom you are looking for in a Muslim country?

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: To those who obey Mohammed

Dear Naqvi,

If you discourage ordinary people to talk about controversial issues how do they understand each other? Are they supposed to be told what they should think and say? I don't think this suits to educated and open-minded people, even for genuine believers. I don't call genuine believers as blindfaithers like you.

You wrote that
"I live in a muslim country and keep my mouth shut".

How long will you keep your mouth shut? What makes your life difficult in your country?
What kind of freedom you are looking for? Drinking alcohol or adultery? These are banned in Islam. Is that what makes you angry about Islam?
