Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Question for Nuray

Dear Daniel Hassan,

Thank you for your polite message. That's very kind of you. It is nice to read comments like yours. Some people on this website are very aggressive while delivering their views.

In my first email I answered your question as a Muslim using verses of Quran, in which Allah says he will protect our holly book.

Why not others?

(1) It is a decision of Allah according to Quran. As far as I know Allah didn't promise this in previous holy books.

(2) Allah is a teacher not only a ruler. Quran has many verses which criticize behaviors of the followers of previous messengers. If there was nothing wrong with Torah why is Bible sent?

Looking for a crystal clear proof in any religion is very different from looking for that in science.
We have only holy books delivered by many messengers to find answers to our questions. Last messenger came 14 century ago. Quite long time.

(3) If there are several holy books and messengers are coming from the same source, it is reasonable to say that the last one deserves more to be protected. If Torah was chosen to be protected there was no reason to send Bible and Quran after Torah.

Until now, at least you know how a Muslim can aswer to your question. It is up to you to be satisfied or not. If any Jewish or Christain reads my comments most probably he/she will not accept them. They don't recognise Quran as another holy book from the same source. They don't accept any connection between their holy book and others. Only Muslims recognise previous holy books and messengers including Moses and Jesus. How can others accept that only Quran is chosen to be protected by God. This will be the end for their religions actually it is so.
