Sadaam has alot of company in the world. His regime and leadership are the rule and not the exception. Are you ready to enlist tommorrow and head to the streets of Bagdhad? I would and did serve against the Taliban, but I am not prepared nor would I want my son to head off to Iraq.
Sadaam is part of the Ba'th party...his ideology is that religion combined with government will be the demise of the middle east. Sadaam squashes fundamentalist groupos in his country....Now Bin Laden has an opposite view. They are reputed enemies. What happens when Sadaam is overthrown and the Shia (who are the majority and align with Iran) decide to settle old scores???? What happens after????
You are allowing the American views (those with no knowledge) to convince you that Terrorism and a bad "evil" dictator are the same. It's very different.....Go ahead and play chicken hawk by going after "evil" dictators while "terrorist" groups, not nation states, get on a plane out of Canada and take out the Sears Tower in downtown Chicago!!!!
If China were to take Taiwan tommorrow....We would posture and do nothing.....It's all about who's got the big stick buddy......Let any small country take a P-3 crew and screw with us like China did and see what happens.......Don't be so fooled and willing to send my fellow sailors...marines...etc....into the streets of Bagdhad....
We learned to love the Russians and the Chinese.....We beat up on Cuba....thanks to numb nuts that continue a 30 year old policy that isn't working.....
