in response to reader comment: You Cannot Just Blaim the Muslim Men For the Tragedies Here

How dare you. I'm going to try to be as nice as I can here. I don't even know where to begin.

You wrote" the ultimate fault for all of these horror stories, lies with the women themselves". So in essence you are not holding these men accountable for the wrong doing that was done? You're excusing the abuse, lies, manipulation, scamming, scheming, narcissism, misogny, on these men? WE GOTTA BE THE ONES DOING THE RESEARCH??? If they know the "type of women" we are, then perhaps they shold keep within their own culture instead of lying to get what they want from us. You could never imagine how great of an actor these men are, oscar worthy in fact. A lot of us may be naive, but let's point the finger to where it needs to be pointed, in the direction of these scum a** men, and the religion that condones this behavior.

My guess is you've never been on the receiving end of an abusive relationship (which is what most of these "men" put us through). So you can't or are unwilling to understand. Or perhaps you're offended because you come from this religion or culture. Or perhaps you're a perpetrator yourself???? Either way I don't care....and your feelings can continue to be hurt because these stories that are listed here are shining a light on the issues that these men bring when they do the horrible things that they do.

Why should we (us women who were lied, used, abused, etc) bear the weight of the wrongdoing that was done to us? Yes I do blame every single one of them that has lied, cheated, abused, scammed, etc....it doesn't bother me to say that. And I'm not even saying that I don't have my own faults but the fact of the matter is I RECOGNIZE MINE, but these abusive men absolutely DO NOT. I don't care what religion, culture, or race they come from...but on this very forum we are speaking of MUSLIM men. There are other forums and message boards online for the other men you speak of (and yes there are plenty of them).

Then you wrote: "Muslim men have very strict and very high standards in regards to their women. The entire culture evolves around the tenant that a virtuous woman is the cornerstone of their society. Keeping their women virtuous and guarding their honor is what they believe prevents their whole society from deteriorating. The culture regards American culture as lax, to put it mildly. They frown upon American culture, sex before marriage and divorce. And they think something is wrong with a woman over 30 that wants to be married, but isn't. A young Muslim man's idea of the perfect woman, is Muslim, not American, a virgin and under 25. If they are to be living in the U.S. after marriage, than she should also be educated - a Pharmacist, a Registered Nurse, a Physician, etc. A Muslim man would never make his first choice a non-Muslim, an American woman, of a different religion and culture, over 30, his first choice. Throw in divorced, uneducated, unemployed and forty or fifty something, and the cards are stacked even higher against her - for finding a Muslim man - or an American man, at that."

TO THAT I SAY NO MAM. Their entire culture is based on controlling a woman who is considered beneath them (MEN) ALL BECAUSE THEY CANT CONTROL THEMSELVES. Bottom line...point, blank, PERIOD. It's all nonsense and belongs in the stone age cause the world doesn't work like that anymore, times have changed, and their culture is not and will not evolve to fit it. THEIR WHOLE SOCIETY HAS AND CONTINUES TO DETERIORATE hence the unrest over there. It's so laughable that you said that. I'm really amused.

I could go on and on....but let me hush
