First, I would like to welcome you to the forum. You have definitely come to the right place to receive help and encouragement with answers because we have been there.

There are as you will see many fine commentators on this forum. Some of us are at different stages of this situation we have found ourselves in. I am Chelsea...I am brash, crude at times. Nice to meet you.

When I read your commentary...I could see you answering your own questions. To me it seems that you really already know the answers and are a wise woman. I am thinking you just need a little push in the right direction.

This situation is going to cost you a ton if you don't start listening to your intelligent head. You seem to be between emotions and good sense. Trust me....good sense will protect you and your family.

Just a few things for you.....with the current administration, and the border crisis...it is going to be hard for him to get in. It will cost you ALOT of money and frustration. USCIS is looking closer at the age difference. A 29 year old male in America is not fully mature as women here mature sooner than men. A Morrocan 29 year old male is even less mature. Crying? Really.

9 months? OK. You already know why he would want to get your pregnant....(papers) however if you keep up with USCIS news, there have been some changes. Can't use a baby for citizenship anymore.

I want to be uplifting and truthful at the same time. Yes you are manipulated. I believe you are a very loving and empathic person. Just what they are looking for. You have emotions too and hopefully you will protect your heart as well.

On the immigration thing. Even if there was a possibility of him getting a visa based on marriage which is the fastest way to get one, be prepared to spend a bunch of money, sign an AOS with the US Government and hope that if he does get here after 2 to 4 years that he makes enough to support himself....if not and he uses assistance ... you will pay that back because you sponsored him...and that can be up to 10 years after the green card. Even after the 2 year conditional and he gets permanent residence and leaves you for another woman, you are still on the hook for eight years.

So now after 9 months I guess you need to decide if you want all this extra responsibility. It is a lot of stress. If you hang with him longer...the harder it is going to be to move on. In a long distance relationship where the dopamine is hitting our brains with every sweet word, it is easy for our minds to create the fantasy and actually see the purpose of achieving that FANTASY. Percentages show these FANTASIES turn into HORROR stories when the pressure cooker of stress heats up.

Whatever you decide.....best wishes.
