Reader comment on item: Why I Am Not a Muslim

Submitted by ABC (Germany), Sep 4, 2005 at 09:26

I am an old person, and was too religious throughout my life, but always sceptic, so I went myself to study the religions.

After long study of christianity, islam, judaism, hinduism, I came to know that all are inventions of the egoistic people looking for worldly pleasures, and wanted to have their continuation so they invented paradise and houris and every nonsense. ...
Now I don't believe in all the rubbish, and Ibn warraq, is my hero, that he got the courage to speak something from a country like Pakistan, but he is speaking. My salutes to Ibn warraq.
