Response to Death of Reason
Reader comment on item: The End of Treason

Submitted by Maggie (Australia), Aug 19, 2005 at 17:32

There is a strength in the words of Orange Yonanson and this is why we should seriously consider and ponder upon these words.

My view remains that we have to look at the history of the mayhem of the rise of Islam since its infancy. Mohammed spread his version of the truth by the sword. It was a case of convert or be killed. There are many today who now have a jaundiced view on the Crusades. Very few understand the real purpose of the Crusades, and many think that the Crusaders only went to kick the Muslims in the shins. That is not true, and it is not the reason that the Pope of the time agreed that something had to be done to protect the Holy Land from these marauders.

It is a truth that very few Christians seem to understand the original peril to Christianity that existed in those early years. They prefer to believe what comes from a left wing TV station in Britain, over and above what was documented at the time that these things took place. What is true is that the Holy Land was in peril of being destroyed by the invaders. The Jews were massacred by the Islamists, and probably at least one million Jews lost their lives in that period, not because of the Crusaders, but because of Islam.

The Crusades continued because of the overall threat to Europe. The Muslims were also out of control in Europe and they had been getting a foothold everywhere. Again, it was either convert or die. Very few Christians understand why Queen Isabella of Spain thought it necessary to introduce an Inquistion. They fail to see that it was a political (not Church) move designed to protect the rights of the Spanish citizens against those who were funding the invasion of the Moors. Yes, that is correct. Someone, namely wealthy Jews who hated Christians and who wanted to gain power in Spain, was funding the invasion of Spain by the Moors. The Spanish Inquisition was an attempt to stem the problem. It served a political purpose and it related to people who were willing to sell out to a greater enemy than Christianity. The good and holy Jews were not involved in what happened.

The rise of Islam since the 1960s has been insidious and what is more frightening is the way in which allegedly Christian European countries have not had the will to see clearly what is happening around them. The Scripture reminds us of the need to stay awake and to not be caught sleeping. Well guess what, in those nations where Judeo-Christianity has been abandoned in favour of Atheism, and where there has been a total decline in the moral standards of the people, there has at the same time been a rise of the new threat of Islamofacism. We have fallen asleep to the point that we have not been awake to the hidden dangers that are posed by Islamofacism.

Reason is dead because true moral ethics have been abandoned in favour of eugenics. The world of 1984 as described in the book of the same name is alive and well in 2005. However, we continue to remain asleep to the hidden dangers. Reason is dead because people are too lazy to check out the facts for themselves. That is why many people are being murdered in hospices all over the world. (I am not talking about patients dying from cancer or teminal illness but of people who are merely elderly or who have Alzheimers, who are inconvenient to family etc). The moral ethics of this situation is enough for the most religious amongst us to turn around and say that the Divine has indeed sanctioned the rise of Islamofacism as a sanction against the injustice that is being perpetrated in countries that are proud of the democratic nations.

However, what has this got to do with treason? Well, everything. The person who commits treason consorts with the enemy and sells the country's secrets to the enemy. A person commits treason when he or she puts loyalty to a false prophet (Mohammed) above everything else. A person commits treason when he or she conspires to inflct harm upon others through the use of suicide bombs that are designed for maximum carnage and death. Anyone involved in such plots has committed an act of treason and should be punished with the full force of the law.

The latest victim of this form of treason is Bangladesh. The Islamofacists have started a new war in this region and Bangladesh suffered 300-400 explosions only days ago. This is high treason against the state of Bangladesh. Let us stop talking about terrorists and call them what they really are, for if they are British or US or Australian citizens and they involve themselves in plots to overthrow the government through a reign of terror, then they are traitors to the country and should be treated according to the law of the land.
