I do agree that the prosecution of treason has nearly disappeared. I do not agree that it is a done deal, or that we should not (or cannot) reverse that trend.

A nation cannot survive if it cannot vigorously prosecute enemies within. Treason is not an option, nor is it something that can go out of fasion. Treason should be prosecuted within the fullest extent of the law, and it should carry the ultimate punishment.
