Under the pretexts of fast pace life, 'whatever happened to you is not my problem' and the always guilt ridden and apologetic left and liberals we are giving away our rights and our country. It is very easy to give away what we have not earned.
We Americans forget the price paid for the Constitution because we did not fight for it ourselves. Under the pretext of freedom of whatever, a vast minority of US citizen refuses or ignore the fact that the some people fought and died to give us the right (obligation) to vote. This lack of responsibility and in fact this refusal to assume responsibility plays in the hands of the very people this country is now fighting against. Indeed they will not only deny our right to vote but they simply will remove it.
As far as I am concerned, to vote is a right and an OBLIGATION of any responsible and conscientious individual. There is no excuse not to vote. In Europe, you get a day off if you need it. The western world is in a fight and we do not owe anybody any apology for defending our ideals even though many things need improvement.
