Hi, Soloview.

I enjoyed your use of the term "mycelium" to describe how Islamism degrades Western society. To the uninitiated (including me, a few minutes ago),

"Mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus or fungus-like bacterial colony, consisting of a mass of branching, thread-like hyphae."

In terms I can understand here in Oregon, it's the hidden, filamentous part of mushroom fungi, the mushrooms being the fruiting bodies. What was reckoned to be the largest living thing in the world, was a mycelium in eastern Oregon that covered thousands of square miles until logging roads broke it up.

Yes, Islamism is like a creepy, invisible "thing" that undermines and rots our society. So, of course, are other doctrines, such as atheism and non-inteligent creationism. Our society is a structure with wood foundations, that has been thoroughly invaded and rotted underneath, like an old outbuilding ready to collapse.

I don't expect this state of affairs to last long. In 10-15 years, I expect society as we know it, both Western and Eastern, to completly collapse in a nuclear war. If my Bible is correct, the present-day structures will not be replaced with similar, mycelium-infested foundations; but with a government of righteousness. We will see how it turns out.

Concerning Daniel's view of prolinging the Syrian War by helping the weaker belligerents, this is actually good, from Israel's perspective. While Israel's enemies have been intensely involved in killing one another, it has been relatively calm in Israel. I note also, that those countries most afflicted by ISIS attacks are largely countries that fund the Fatah and HAMAS terror groups in Israel (This includes the EU, Canada and the US). It might be said, that we are getting what we deserve.
