Today's misunderstandings of how the Middle East defies solutions and a world body approach to solving for the peace equation failing for the lack of finding and acknowledging the true constant, will all be more easily assessed when it is acknowledged that not one politician, from the protagonists of the Balfour era to the current antagonists, cannot agree except to disagree.
Were former President Eisenhower more keenly tuned to the idea that America should have had Israel's back from the moment President Truman gave America's nod of consenting to Israel's proclamation of rebirth, then Nasser would have spoken more solemnly towards a pact of true peace, instead of the world waiting until Sadat's doomed foray into a peaceful border of questionable security.
But there is a sequence of events that are on display, in which, if understood in historical context and allowed to continue without global world interference, that demonstrate the issues surrounding Israel are not the world's issues to solve; that the world is playing in something it cannot resolve and will be catastrophically used to demonstrate the human effort to a peace deal is lost before it began. Of such was Eisenhower's efforts in the Middle East. The current efforts are similarly lost.
