Dear Dr Pipes,

They never stop. This article in Guardian (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/17/muslim-americans-donald-trump-hate-crimes-surveillance) has a plethora of Islamic apologists who are very tormented on Donald Trump's election as president of the United States. No one ever said as such but they are all very worried that they will not be able to wear hijabs, burkinis, and burkhas under Trump-administration. These bastions of objectivity cannot understand how a democracy as old and as strong as America can elect a President like Donald Trump.

Of course these great people follow Gandhian or Christian principle of not seeing anything bad. So they do not notice that hundreds of Islamic theologies have existed and thriving on this planet. For them, there are only too legitimate forms of governments: 1) In Islamic majority nations Islamic Theocracies are ideal. No other form comes close. and 2) Every other nation better be a democracy where every one protects the rights of religious minorities.

And while we are at it, it is only justified that Saudi Arabia openly and shamelessly advises schools in Saudi Arabia to have no holidays on any non-Muslim festivals (http://www.business-standard.com/article/international/saudi-arabia-bans-schools-from-declaring-non-islamic-holidays-116111400425_1.html). Of course, this is fully justified because there are hardly any non-Muslims let in Saudi Arabia to protest.

Sarcasm aside, I humbly request Muslim leaders, intellectuals and people to work to establish secular democracies in Islamic controlled regions of the world for that is the only right way to live,
