Dear Dr Pipes, the question "How to recognize an Islamist" is defying you and your readers for months. How about the following definition: An Islamist is a Muslim who does not vehemently scream for democracy in the countries ruled and occupied by Muslims but demands for democratic rights for Muslims in free nations around the world. Such a person may not be an Islamist but, surely, he is a hypocrite.
