A lot bigger threat-and not learning from past History

Reader comment on item: Turkey's Erdo─čan Gambles and Loses

Submitted by Michael Hanni Morcos (Canada), Apr 7, 2016 at 10:55

To me Erdogan is a re-incarnation of the young Ottoman barbaric officers that are responsible for the Armenian Genocide ;that is still not aknowledged today .

The bigger threat is the West appeasing and allowing his agenda to flourish ; and not learning from past historical events.Let us never forget that the whole Islamic World ,including Turkey was always Non-Islamic except for a handful of Tribal enclaves in a speck of what is called now Saudia Arabia . We better learn this lesson or accept to surrender to an Islamic Caliphate .

thank you.
