Married to AlgerianReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Silk (United States), Feb 17, 2016 at 08:43 Hi I am married to Algerian man who is much younger than me slightly more than a year. He came to US to visit me and back to his country while waiting for his petition to get through. I visited him few months ago and met his family. They were very nice to me but the problem is according to my husband he didn't tell them that I am his wife because of our age difference. My husband also very concerned about the opinion of people in his country about us. He will try to avoid walking together with me in public place. He is quite relax when he was in US because he said people here are more open minded. I am tempted to tell his family about our marriage but worry about his reaction. By the way, he told his family that I am just a friend to him. Any advice or comment is appreciated.
