Follow the Oil

Oil. Russia's economy dependent on oil (& gas) exporting. Russia wants to influence these oil exporting countries: Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, et al. Hi price, lower production of oil helps Russia's people of influence with money & power.
