Perhaps Jihad (in Quran's context) means an internal struggle within oneself. But in the islamic sense that would come about only when all other religions (except Islam) are extinct. Even then, it would continue until only when one and only one sect of islam stands, the rest annihiliated by Jihad's perpetually destructive interpretation.

The benevolent interpretation of Jihad is the one reserved by the Islamists for hoodwinking the gullible non-moslem societies of the world. Jihad in islam means only death and destruction of the innocents. Islam is the classic exception to the rule that violence begets more violence. The solution to Islamic Jihad is war, war destructive enough to break the spine of the islamic aggression, war until the moslems themselves destroy the evil men who launched this unholy crusade in this modern world. Sadly this act (overthrowing the mullahs) cannot be provoked into the islamic community without a world war.
