Reader comment on item: That Failed Philadelphia "Islamic Jew-Hatred" Bus Ad

Submitted by George Keselman (United States), May 28, 2015 at 13:19

Turkish 'Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan rejected attempts to call Turkey the representative of moderate Islam. "It is unacceptable for us to agree with such a definition. Turkey has never been a country to represent such a concept. Moreover, Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not," Erdoğan said, speaking at Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies late Thursday.' http://www.hurriyet.com.tr/english/domestic/11360374.asp

Mr. Erdoğan is consistent on the topic. Milliyet, Turkey, August 21, 2007

'Speaking at Kanal D TV"s Arena program, PM Erdogan commented on the term "moderate Islam", often used in the West to describe AKP and said, "These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that's it." '

You can see that "Radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution..." and "Coexist !" are failed advertisements so far. Will they work if repeated a few more times?

Admiral James "Ace" Lyons, Jr. (Ret.) has a different idea.

You can chose which advertisement is better and even correct.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Because an Islamist like Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says his form of religion is the only one, we have to accept that?
