Obama's promise to transform America (and the World)

Reader comment on item: Decoding the Obama Doctrine

Submitted by Richard L Rubenstein (United States), Apr 7, 2015 at 08:33

Daniel Pipes has got it right about Obama all the way. Obama's methods are straight out of Saul Alinski, whose work should be required reading for anyone interested in the way Obama has conducted himself as President. And, incidentally, Hilary Clinton was (is?) an Alinsky devotee and had personal contact with him on several occasions. Alinsky's teachings are about taking power from those he considers empowered and giving it to the more or less powerless which translates into giving power to the left-wing intellectuals and bureaucrats who claim to be working on behalf of the powerless. The powerless will remain powerless.

When I think of Obama, I cannot help but think of Lenin, the penniless exile in Switzerland who transformed the Tsarist Empire. Obama, the community organizer, promised to "transform" America. He really meant transform the world, and he is doing it. It will take generations to undo his mess if he cannot be stopped.
