While we may recognize key differences between Suni and Shia sects, it is salient to remember that neither constitutes a greater or lesser path away from fundamental Islamic psychosis. Each in their own way threatens to drive the entire planet into a conflagration of death and destruction.

Which bite would you rather sustain, that of a cobra or a rattlesnake?

You are right, except that the Shi'i forces are organized by Tehran and are much more dangerously offensive now than the Sunni forces.
