amyReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by coconut (Philippines), Feb 28, 2015 at 03:40 i wish you good luck Amy, but 1 year marriage is a very short time to say that youre happy and its forever, did you meet his family?did he introduced you to them?if not im so sorry to tell you that he is not serious, really he has no children? how did you know? did you check his background? and he got married twice to an egyptian women? and divorced twice? why is that he got divorced to these women in his culture twice considering egyptian women are very submissive and always obey their husbands, and you married him even before meeting him in person? it seems like you make decisions hurriedly and judge the situation immediately, you spoke as if Christian women dont know how to adjust and sacrifice, you cannot imagine what sacrifices some women here have done in fact even greater than your faith has expected to women just to make the relationship work, most of them became almost one sided, you are only 1 year married together so i dont want to make you sad but i think its a short time to say that your relationship with him is already forever, really an egyptian muslim man didnt want to have his own children? are you sure?and i dont want to burst your bubble but if you have read this entire site you will find out that being a Muslimah wont make you an exception to the rules of scam, and these Muslimah are even younger than you and no children and never been married, try to back read, there was even one girl in UK who spent 8 years with an egyptian man and she thought they wont separate but one day the man just disappeared without a trace because he needed to follow his parents back home, there was also one girl in US who were with an egyptian man for 13 years but the man still married one from egypt to follow his culture and wish of his parents, and there was another woman married to Egyptian man again for 20 years and they have children together but they got divorced because of cultural differences and the parents want someone from egypt, being a muslimah is not a guarantee, even though youre a muslimah you still have different culture from egypt and the parents want someone they know there for their sons, and im really baffled by the fact that he was divorced twice to egyptian women, knowingly that these women will not even initiate a divorce because they are very patient even their husbands are already verbally abusing them, is this man living with you in the US? are you going to sponsor him?his parents still alive? if yes then you might have a problem because they would still want to have grandchildren of their own, if he didnt introduced you to his family its another problem, i wish you wont have the same fate like some of the girls here, there are very very few successful stories i wish you goodluck, sincerely because my heart got broken every time i read destroyed lives and broken hearted stories from women here Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
