Re. CAIR's Hate Crimes Nonsense

I agree with Octavio Johanson. CAIR is probably anxious to see an expansion of "hate crimes" laws and proscriptions of "hate speech" (as is now the case in several European states). Islamists will use this as a wedge to advance the Islamicisation of the U.S.

If critics of Islamicisation can be marginalised in media and politics, labelled as "racist" or anti-muslim bigots suffering from an irrational "Islamophobia", then the way is clear for a widening stream of muslim immigration and Islamic infiltration of all American social and political institutions. (The recent attempts to force Islamic propaganda on American public school students has already been discussed on this site; this could become widespread and widely accepted if Islam gains a "protected minority" status under hate crimes laws.)
