EU a Great Threat; But Not the Greatest to Israel

in response to reader comment: The EU is the largest threat to Israel

All things considered and in view of a changing dynamic that seems to underlie a global shifting back to a former time of targeting the Jewish population of just about any place there are Hebrews, saying that the EU is the largest threat to Israel is an easy assumption, but slightly understated. One might observe that of all the places that should be ethnically touchy about the Jewish population, one should think Europe was; and yet anti-Semitism was just recently announced as being so resurgent, it is now competitive with the continent's stain of conscience just after the Krystalnacht(sp) in prewar Germany. That being said, a greater influence of anti-Israel sentiments than found in the EU has formed, if the most recent actions of the U.N. are any indication.

Now, the time has come and the implications are more compelling; that Israel, in fact, is being targeted in a way that history has not known for centuries and further, in a way that if the path is not altered, history will never be able to recover from in the mere gravity of the offenses being proposed. While the Roman influences are noted, a greater offense is in the offing. Israel, indeed Jerusalem, is being set up for a rout of such magnitude, the nations that try her in the fire of their anger will find they are the ones being forged on the anvil of history; and a hammer greater than that of the Maccabean will provide the judgment. It will be a time of Biblical proportions and the EU is only a part of the impending reconciliation of Israel to her Redeemer.
