Multinational, Multicultural Greed

Reader comment on item: America the Multicultural

Submitted by Dave (United States), Sep 30, 2014 at 17:13

The Wall Street Journal, a paper which reflects corporate values, has always been a proponent of increased immigration as corporations are always interested in hiring the best, cheapest labor they can find. In the same vein, the tax inversion problem reflects the fact that lower taxes trump national loyalties for many corporations. I'm sure that IBX would include 1600 translations if it meant more customer patronage and was economically feasible. Corporations have about as much loyalty to their workers as to their country: just ask any laid off worker.

Yet, open-border multiculturalists and corporations will cooperate on many fronts. The result will be insecure workers, lower wages and the end of traditional America.
