Very good; let's send over some of our construction people; they need the business, as the coming burst of bubble in the USA will leave them casting about for business;
As to the schools (madrassas), let them study in a tent, or better, as we do here when a school district is overcrowded, in a mobile construct of one sort or another. It's not pretty, but it works, and it taxes the beleaguered working class taxpayer a bit less.
QUESTION: WHO WILL TEACH THE CHILDREN WELL?
And another question: Will radical Islam sit on its haunches during this moderation of their ambition?
Will I see a result in my lifetime? (61 years old in the year 2005)
Will we be around to see any of this to fruition, or will IRAN bomb us silly before any good comes of this amibitious plan.
ANY EXAMPLES OF WHEN SUCH AN UNDERTAKING HAS WORKED, AT ANY TIME, THRU HISTORY? WITH WHAT PERCENTAGE OF SUCCESS?
HAVE WE STAVED OFF AN OVERWHELMING CHALLENGE, SUCH AS RADICAL ISLAM, ANY TIME IN OUR PAST?
WHAT ROLE DOES PUTINISM PLAY IN ALL THIS...PUTINISM BEING THE RETURN OF RUSSIAN COMMUNISM UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF THAT CUTIE PIE, THE BLONDE AND SVELTE AND OH, SO 21ST CENTURY VERSION OF STALIN, AKA VLADIMIR PUTIN?
IF NONE OF THIS HAPPENS SOON, WHERE CAN I GO TO ESCAPE THE BLANKET OF THE THIRD CENTURY SOON TO SMOTHER THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE? ISRAEL, PERHAPS?
Fine, it's all very fine, so how about an open invitation to the author, Daniel Pipes, to speak at the new mosque now nearing completion in Boca Raton, Florida. It is a mosque so large, outsized for the surrounding Islamic population, one is led to wonder at its ambition!
Dissillutioned as one may be, there is always the hope that the bushmen are surrounded with good talking heads, good enough to change the course of history.
Shalom, y'all,
Nina
