Reader comment on item: What Egypt's President Sisi Really Thinks

Submitted by Michael Hanni Morcos (Canada), Sep 17, 2014 at 01:00

After Morsi was elected by a large number of Egyptians -mostly Mubros affiliated -he hand picked Sissi -trusting he's on the same page-- Now Sissi has betrayed the trust for more personal ambitions [ he stated that he was dreaming of this position for 35 years] than altruistic ones. The core is to be Sharia-Free and separate -mosque and state ;for any chances of saving Egypt.I never agreed or liked the Mubros ,as much or more that i agreed with a Military huanta dictatorship-with the Salafies at the helm and Sharia rule of Law;and in both cases the Copts ,and other minorities are second or third class citizens.

thank you.
