If this is fundamentally a religious war, then the targets of Islam need to turn loose the Christian AND Jewish missionaries *everywhere* instead of hindering them or showing outright hostility.

In the days of the British Empire, Christian missionaries were very active, and Muslim terror was much less then than today. A radical whose heart has been turned to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a radical filled with love instead of hate.
