Reader comment on item: There's No Difference between ISIS and ISIL

Submitted by Jeremy Eliot (Israel), Sep 13, 2014 at 04:26

Jordan ?

There was never a Jordanian People... There was, and there is a Jewish People. The so called Jordanians do not exist in history. The middle East problem began with the British an French Mandate. Satisfying Muslim demands, then and now, has turned the Middle East into a war zone with no end in sight. The territory called "Palestine" should be divided between the Palestinian and the Jewish People !! The "Jordanian" "king" was/is a british invention which denied and continues to deny the Palestinians and the Jews a just solution.

Daniel Pipes replies:

Excuse me, but there exists a state called Jordan and that's what my article thrice referred to. I made no mention here (or anywhere else that I can recall) of a "Jordanian people."

As an aside: Odd how often commentators disagree with things I have not written.
