Egyptian men= mentally abusive FACTReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Cleopatra (United Kingdom), Aug 7, 2014 at 14:41 After having my own experience, as well as hearing from many other women, I can safely draw this conclusion. (most) Egyptian men are mentally abusive. They are unable to admit they are wrong (how can an inferior woman be right, afterall?) and if you disagree with them, or call them out on something, they will 'punish you'. Does this sound familiar? I was 'punished' a lot, when I had differing opinions, or when I confronted him about what I suspected was womanizing. What is this punishing you may ask? Well, I was ignored for days, weeks, with a set date for when punishment ended. When I was with him in egypt, sex would be withheld, as well as all intimacy. And why is this? The answer is in the qu'ran, which specifically says that if a woman is not obedient, punish her by not sharing her bed.' This behaviour leads the woman to question herself, and then eventually apologise and believe she is wrong. It is pure manipulation. He would also label me 'mentally sick' for even questioning him/confronting him in the first place. He said I had problem with my mind, and made me question my sanity. He did this as he was with other women, and it was so convenient to pretend it was all in MY head. When me and him broke up (blessing in disguise), he would send me pictures of him with various russian women in clubs, to make me jealous. I held my head up high, informing him I had another boyfriend. His response? I'm a ***** and a cheater. How can I be a cheater if we aren't together?
